  • Del Seymour

    FOUNDER, BOARD VICE PRESIDENT

    Del is an African American Vietnam veteran who was chronically homeless and incarcerated for 18 years. He founded Code Tenderloin in 2015 and co-chair San Francisco’s Local Homeless Coordinating Board. He formed Code Tenderloin to create a bridge between the most underserved members of his city and the tech industry.

  • Sonja Scott

    BOARD PRESIDENT

    Sonja Scott has been a part of Code Tenderloin since its inception, she has volunteered and taught portions of the job readiness program. She has worked for multiple non profits in the Tenderloin such as Glide Memorial Church, Swords to Plowshares and Hamilton Families. She is committed to serving those in need. She currently is employed as The Associate Director of Crisis Response and Street Based Services with (RAMS) Richmond Area Multi services. She currently resides in San Francisco and was born in Oakland, California.

    Charles Crompton has been a San Francisco Superior Court judge since 2014. Before that, he created and ran GLIDE's unconditional Legal Clinic, and he was a partner at Latham and Watkins, LLC from 1999-2014. He serves on the State's Judicial Council, and he sits on the Board of Directors of Legal Link and the Advisory Board of Swords to Plowshares,

    Dr. Joe Kenan, MD, MBA, is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. With over 20 years in private practice and having treated over 40,000 patients, Dr. Kenan, as CEO and Medical Director of The Couch Psychiatry, pioneers telepsychiatry to make mental health care more accessible. His background includes an Assistant Clinical Professorship at UCLA, presidency of the American Society for Adolescent Psychiatry, and authorship in significant psychiatric research.

    Adrienne Posner has 15 years of experience in designing and implementing initiatives that improve educational outcomes and 10 years of experience creating technical programs that specifically reach BIPOC learners and improve their representation in the tech industry. Additionally, as a former academic and teacher, she has extensive hands-on coaching, mentoring, and classroom experience and knows how to reach learners with competing demands on their time and attention.

    In her current role as a Senior Program Manager at Google, Adrienne leads a Strategy and Operations team and has a comprehensive knowledge of program development, design, implementation, and measurement. She also runs a consulting firm that focuses on career transitions and professional development, with a specific emphasis on assisting LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and neurodivergent job seekers.
