Community Outreach
We continue to apply expansive community outreach work in San Francisco’s Tenderloin, surrounding neighborhoods, and throughout the Greater Bay Area. Our staff is closely connected with the other community-based organizations in the Tenderloin and the rest of the city. Case manager support is the first step in folding participants into our dynamic community network.
Community Ambassador Program
We assist our neighbors that are elderly, reentering the community, and those with language barriers. Our frontline services include hygiene kit distribution, provide public health information, and facilitating reentry.
Calming the Corners Street Pop-up
This activation and outreach program offers resources, information, and public health access in the Tenderloin. Find us on corners throughout the Tenderloin, such as 1055 Market Street.
Community and Cultural Events
Year-round programming includes a Black History Month Event, Juneteenth, a Mother’s Day Makeover, a Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway, and Joy to the City.
