TOY DRIVE WISH LIST

PROHIBITED ITEMS

We encourage all guests to arrive early and travel light, as you are subject to search prior to entry.

The following items are prohibited inside:

  • Weapons and dangerous devices of any kind, including, but not limited to, pepper spray/mace, flares and fireworks, tasers/stun guns

  • Outside alcohol, drugs, and illegal substances

  • Non-surgical masks will not be allowed; guests must be easily identifiable

  • Pamphlets, product samples

  • Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles, helmets, chairs

  • 2-way radios

  • No flash/professional photography, tripods or monopods, or selfie sticks

  • Drones

  • Signs/flags/banners/posters: may not exceed 11”x17” in size or attached to any pole or stick made of wood, metal, plastic or any other hard material.

  • Laser pointers

  • Metal objects (i.e. license plates)

  • Any noise-making devices (i.e. air horns, cow bells, whistles, drums, plastic horns, etc.)

Help us bring holiday joy to San Francisco families!

Code Tenderloin is collecting new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages to be distributed at Joy to the City 2025. Our free, family-centered holiday celebration at the San Francisco Center.

Every toy donated helps a child feel seen, celebrated, and loved this season.

  • Donating a toy from our Wish List

  • Dropping off toys at Code Tenderloin

  • Hosting a toy drive with your workplace or community group

Together, we can make sure every child experiences the joy they deserve this holiday season.

HOW TO GET THERE

Rideshare Information: 

TAXI/RIDESHARE

Taxis are readily available on Mission and Fifth Streets. Uber and Lyft are also available.

AMTRAK

Amtrak offers bus pick-up and drop-off from the station in Emeryville directly to the Centre. Look for the Amtrak sign on Market Street in front of American Eagle Outfitters.

Parking:

PUBLIC PARKING

There are four public parking garages conveniently located near San Francisco Centre.

  • The Ellis O’Farrell garage off Ellis Street in between Powell and Stockton.

  • The Union Square garage is located off Geary Street between Powell and Stockton.

  • An alternate garage is the Jessie Street Garage (entrance off 3rd Street, left-hand side, just before you cross Market Street).

  • 5th and Mission Parking Garage encompasses roughly one full East-West block and is bordered by Minna, Mission, 4th and 5th Streets.

Muni Information:

BART/MUNI METRO BUS

San Francisco Centre is located at Powell Station. The Powell Street Muni lines J,K,L,M,N and T stop at the Centre.

Bus lines No. 5,6,7,9,21,31 and 66 will bring you directly to San Francisco Centre by exiting 5th and Market.

CABLE CARS

Directly across from the Centre at Powell and Market Streets, there is a cable car turn-around which serves as the beginning stop for two lines, the Powell-Mason and Powell-Hyde lines. The Powell-Mason line begins at the Powell/ Market turnaround, going over Nob Hill and down to Bay Street at Fisherman’s Wharf. The Powell-Hyde line also begins at the Powell Market turn-around and runs over Nob and Russian hills before ending at Aquatic Park near Ghiradelli Square. Both lines end near Fisherman’s Wharf.

HISTORICAL STREET CARS

The historic streetcars traveling Market Street between the Castro and Fisherman’s Wharf all stop at our Centre.
